Process of Design

Concept

This is the most creative phase of the design process and the cornerstone of every project. We create a visual narrative that describes the user’s experience and emotions in the space. . We define the intentions of the project and propose a strategy that responds to functional, aesthetic and economic factors.

Luminous Composition

We orchestrate the various elements that are part of the scenic set. We develop negative visual maps where we capture the various lighting zones and create visual hierarchies that serve as spatial guides.

Schematic Design

In this stage we define how we are going to achieve the concept previously proposed. We develop preliminary plans, possible constructive, architectural and decorative solutions. . We make an estimated valuation where we fit the project within the established budget.

Technical Development

This is the final stage of the design process where we prepare the necessary technical documentation for the implementation of the project on site. We develop plans, sections, construction details, mock-ups, on-site testings, luminaire specifications, lighting calculations and lighting schemes.

On-site Follow-up

We make periodic site visits to support the installation team with technical documentation and ensure that the work is executed following the guidelines set out in the lighting project. We respond to queries and unforeseen events from manufacturers and suppliers. We finish this phase with the orientation of the luminaires and the fine-tuning of the programming.
