We used the illuminated façade of the Kursaal auditorium to spread our message and also placed posters on the pavement throughout the city to make residents reflect on the impact of urban lighting.
This project aims to improve our urban environment by leveraging local resources, imagination, ingenuity, and, above all, by providing citizens with fun. In this sense, Winter Solstice Call aims to inspire and motivate residents to create festive scenes together during the darkest time of the year through sustainable lighting interventions, thus generating an active movement that keeps the city alive on this special occasion. This project joins the official agenda of IYL2015, the International Year of Light declared by UNESCO.
