Bitamine Faktoria has invited us to prepare the 42nd Irun Hiriko Kutxa Literary Awards. We’ve formed a creative team in the areas of performing arts, circus arts, dance, music, and lighting.
This is a strange event, as the presence of a fake celebrity and other surprises have decorated the awards ceremony with humor and surprise.
In addition to carefully selecting the stage lighting, we considered the audience’s entire experience, transforming the visual experience upon entering and exiting the Amaia Theater. The key lies in the contrasting light tones: upon entering, the space appears blue, and upon exiting, red. The main resource was color filters, as we used the same lighting used every day in the theater. In this case, as in so many others, we achieved a great impact with few resources!
