We gather about 20-30 participants and expose the potential that light offers as a tool for the transformation of our urban environment.
We divided into smaller teams and following previously designed instructions we prepared for action. We march to the chosen location, usually dark or unattended places, and we spread out in the space carrying high-powered flashlights, filters, reflectors, etc. Each participant takes a specific position and directs his or her beam of light to a specific place following previous instructions. We test the light effects until we obtain the desired result. Once all the teams are satisfied we launch a signal and all the participants turn on their flashlights and hold them for a few moments to compose together a new visual image that will remain engraved in our memories.
With this activity we promote values of social cohesion among citizens and their potential interest in architectural lighting design and urban intervention,
