Carpentry, blacksmithing and lighting technology merge to create a space of beauty and wellbeing in the most vibrant neighborhood of Donostia.
It is an open space with double height where the effects of light play a decisive role in both functionality and perception of the environment. Neutral tones welcome us in the reception and hairdressing/barbering area while the massage cabins welcome us with warmer tones and low intensities.
Large suspended luminaires hang elegantly from the ceiling above the seating area where detailed work is required. These luminaires in turn project an indirect light that bathes the high ceilings and reveals the spatial volumetry. A grazing effect on the back wall of the room inspires us and guides us to the washing area.
The central shelves serve as a partition between the main area and the passageway leading to the booths. We integrated linear lighting into the furniture where original and select products are displayed.
Moving on to the cabins and treatments area, we enter a more intimate and cozy state. The different light scenes accompany the client’s experience from arrival to departure, which can end with a shower under a cascade of light with a tropical essence.
